This will be a quickie. I just wanted to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new blog! I love it so much I’m writing it this little love note to tell it that I love it.
As many of you know, for the last year or so, I’ve had another blog under the name Bee Free Photography (which I also love, especially the name). But as I dove into the world of becoming a professional photographer and became inspired by certain pros who I now e-stalk religiously, I realized that I really wanted something that would allow me to post up big pics, have better SEO visibility, and was super easy to just see lots and lots of pics.
One after another, I saw that all the pros I liked were using a blog template from ProPhotoBlogs.com. I love their templates! But being a newbie with a tight little budget, spending the cash to buy their template would be the difference between a great blog or a new toy to help me take pictures to put on it. So, I continued my search to find the blog of my dreams to match my shoestring budget. Alas Tofurious to the rescue!
I don’t even remember how I happened upon it. (I’m sure it was another one of my late night obsessions on the web.) But low and behold, there it was: A FREE photographers wordpress blog template that allowed for everything I wanted. A few tweaks to the theme’s background and graphics and TADA, I had a new blog! Did I mention that it was FREE?!
So if you’re like me and are just starting out, check ‘em out. And here’s a bonus: they also have all these fantastic videos and posts on improving your SEO and all that google goodness. So, signed up for the newsletter I did (insert yoda voice) and now I’m raving about them. I guess it’s true, when you help others, people love ya. And boy has tofurious helped me and I love ‘em!
